Here are some general notes on the climate across Canada. For specific dates and locations please contact us.
The West Coast is the most temporate area of Canada. You won't see much, if any, snow in Vancouver and none in Victoria on Vancouver Island (flowers start to blossom in February). If you're living in Europe Vancouver weather can be compared to Northern France. Skiing in Whistler starts in November.
Spring on the West Coast begins in earnest in late March. Summer is fully formed by May and lasts until October. Temperatures in July and August hit the low 30's. In July you'll get up to 16 hours of daylight.
East and North of Vancouver and in the Rockies snow starts to stick in November and usually stays on the ground until late March.
In the North and Alberta lakes start to freeze in early November and stay that way until early March.
Summer on the Prairies is hot. In Central Canada warm weather begins in early May and lasts until September.
In Central Canada warm weather begins in early May and last until September.
The Maritimes can be very cold in the winter and quite nice in the Summer.
