Canada works on 60 hertz, 110/120 Volt power. European appliances will need an adaptor (MOP will happily supply).
All mobile phones will work here but calling can be costly. MOP will supply you with local mobiles.
MOP can also provide translation services or Production Assistants fluent in your language.
Directors, DPs, Production Designers and other crew require Work Permits that must be submitted by MOP. Applications should be submitted five days in advance of arrival in Canada.
Production company producers, all agency and all client do NOT need Work Permits. Before you travel ask MOP for a letter to show the immigration officers and avoid any hassle.
Currency can be exchanged in Canada but it's always best to do it at home before you leave. You will have to claim amounts over CDN $10,000.
